well i mean the guy did agree to bring his title to the states to put it on the line, then agreed to take on a tougher replacement than the original guy to keep the show on the road and then fought through a bloody gash causing surely vision issues and a much harder time in there for him, i dont really understand why people are ragging on him to be honest, what do u want a guy to do

Let's say the injuries were reversed and Tim had the broken nose. You guys would be using that as as an excuse. This is pitiful. I don't see it, Tim isn't a big ****er or a great boxer. Its his name.

        nah

        broken noses are common

that injury he had is worse and not so common

its more intrusive & that should really be clear, for some for whatever reasons it doesnt seem to be

I have to agree with the gentlemen perspective and that of several others within the boxing community who made a similar observation.
Tim Tyszu could have easily let it go after 4 rounds and have the fight stopped due to inadvertent cut which was a BAD ONE IN A BAD PLACE, And he would have retained his title. Yet he didn't take the easy way out, Instead choosing to fight on against a man who had very distinct advantages over him from a physical standpoint. You could see he was having issues with his vision because the blood was going directly into his eyes and it limited his offense considerably. Yet in spite of that he made a very admirable go of it losing by a split decision. He had Fundora going in the 1st 2 stanzas and surprisingly handled his jab well before the cut. That broken nose did Fundora no favors but he could at least see what he was hitting at. Tim T. On the other hand was badly limited thanks to that nasty cut and the subsequent blood hampering his vision. Anyone who says it didn't is just plain ignorant and has their agenda and narrative that definitely isn't based in sound boxing knowledge. As for a rematch Tim T. SHOULD follow up on that because as one person stated earlier, without a title he has no real leverage when it comes to negotiating with Crawford and others. Fundora and Tyszu showed heart that night and I applaud both men for giving their all. Boxing is a TOUGH sport and a truth machine when it comes down to seeing what kind of character a man REALLY has. Looking forward to seeing both men back in action soon

I think there's only two of us who are "ragging" on Tim, but pie in the sky doesn't work in the ring. Angles and footwork, stopping power, ultra speed. Look at videos of the real greats. Mantequila, S Sanchez, Duran. Not to compare, but to see whats missing.

Pride for what? He is only there for money.

Tszyu should have ensured they had an experienced cutman either manage the cut or stop the fight.
Stitch Duran went on record to say that the fight should have been stopped because cuts like these are difficult to close,
plus Tszyu cutman by all accounts was a complete amateur.

At that level, you need the best.

Lol would be funny, but when you think about it, Canelo has been doing such fights for years.
