I thought it was a great fight. The politics of boxing is what it is. If the kid fights Spence first, then so be it. Fans can complain about corruption in boxing all they want. It has always been part of the game. If the fights are exciting, then I am satisfied. Fundora/Spence is an intriguing matchup. Spence will probably break the kid down with body shots but he does have eye issues and the Towering Inferno may pepper away and do some damage.Comment

While I appreciated Tim's will to fight through a veritable Hershell Gordon Lewis movie, he only has himself to blame for the loss. I would like to see a rematch, just to see if the cut was indeed the fight changing factor. Props to Fundora, he fought smart, capitalizing on that cut and did what he had to do by keeping Tim at a distance for the remainder of the fight.Comment

Tszyu does the throwback thing, takes on the awkward fighter at short notice, gives up height, reach, says yes to a southpaw, gives the guy a shot at the title and doesn't insist on a rematch clause. And of course, that happens. And then Fundora doesn't want to do it again without the cut.
Boxing never wants to help itself.
Anyway, I liked Tim Tsyu before; now I'm a fan and will support him whatever fight he gets next.Comment
