the reason he said that is because Tszyu won't be fit to fight until that cut is fully healed, could be 6+ months. Fundora could be back in the ring in 3-4

This is true, but it doesn't mean that the rematch has to be a title fight. It doesn't mean that the belt(s) have to be on the line. Take into account that Tszyu will need a while to let the cut fully heal, there's no reason that Fundora won't take a fight first while Tim is healing. Let's say Fundora loses to Spence/Bud. He will no longer have a title. Will Tim still want that rematch? People need to step back and look at the whole picture

Haymons going to order Fundora to drop the wbo belt. Anything to avoid another embarrassing defeat to Bud

Also, Tszyu did not have a rematch clause with Sebastian Fundora because Fundora was a last minute replacement opponent.

However if Sebastian does decide to not fight Terence Crawford then he will get stripped by the WBO.

So I guess he would be fighting Spence for the WBC after all.
The same way Munguia can jump the Queue and fight Canelo, Canelo is not getting stripped for not fighting his mandatory Benavidez and Benavidez has been Canelo's mandatory for like 2 years already...

Yeah but that's the WBC. Guess Fundora could drop the WBO and fight Spence for the WBC only. But if he does he may never get another shot at Crawford.

              Those who dare Rodney.....

Crawford is coming for the titles. Fundora needs to decide if he wants to fight the nr 1 in the sport or not.

And the answer should of course be......yes please

I get that. What you are saying is true but at least Munguia is undefeated. Errol Spence on the other hand is coming off a TKO loss to Bud Crawford and now he gets an immediate title shot because of it? It just doesn’t seem right to me.

Fundora caught a couple of breaks yesterday. He was a last minute replacement opponent and Tszyu caught a bad, unfortunate cut. The score could have gone either way. While, I gave it to Fundora. Fundora is not going to give Tszyu an immediate rematch. There's no guarantee that he will beat Tszyu in a rematch. It's a given that he most likely will not be a long reigning champion. He's going for the money. He might fight a bum, but then he's only going to face Spence or Crawford next. Those are big money fights. He'll go Spence first - only because there's a chance he can beat Spence. But I think he'll lose against Spence and Crawford.

Spence will do what Tszyu neglected to do - go to the body; he will chop that big tree down. Timber!!!

And Crawford will lure Fundora into all sorts of traps.

Shawn Porter might even want to come out of retirement. Fundora, while super tall, is the perfect opponent for his style. He'd rush, turn, and twist Fundora while beating him up. If Porter can take Fundora's jab/punch, he should seriously consider coming out of retirement for one fight with Sebastian.

They have love for p4p fighters moving up and making them automatic mandatory (Inoue, Bud, etc.)
Yeah, Seb will drop the WBO and have the in house fight with Spence.

Bud and Tim will fight for the vacant WBO
