Can Dirrell Win A Decision In Nottingham?

With Andre Dirrell's challenge for the WBC Title being in Nottinham, England, home of Carl Froch, could Dirrell win a decision? Even if it's a close fight? Or would he have to somehow stop Froch?

I can't see Dirrell stopping Froch but could see him outpointing Froch but I don't know how the judges would see it seeing as how it's in Froch's town! There is a very high chance that Froch will KO Dirrell rendering the judges useless though!

IMO, any fighter can and should be able to win any decision anywhere

    Robberies suck, plain and simple.

Should probably worry about dodgy TKOs more so than corrupt judging

I think so. The scorecards may favour Froch by a point or two more than is deserved, but if you look at Bradley-Witter you'll see that a foreign boxer can outpoint a Brit for a world title in Nottingham.

It would be a real shame if bad officiating ruined this, but I don't think that'll happen.

I hope that the officiating is on point but bad decisions or hometown decisions are very common in this sport as we all know! I'm just looking to see great fights from this tournament that has the potential to be awesome! Robberies suck d*ck and they bring our sport down!!

Whoever had Thaxton-Murray shouldn't been doing any high profile fights.
