I think to achieve this he'd have to win a belt by May 2025 & hes not even ranked in the top 15 by a belt group yet last I looked.

The fact he never even fought in the open division as an amateur (assuming UK boxing is like US boxing now) I'm more inclined in moving him slower anyway. And idek that I love the fact that he never lost as an amateur. Who knows how this kid will react to adversity when he finds it for the first time in a competitive fight. I could see him sh^t the bed upon his first real test or tense moment & never be the same guy in his own head or in the ring again.
This is a brilliant post. Hit every nail on the head with this. I couldn’t agree more with you. A heavyweight needs to face adversity. I mean look at AJ. He’s a great example alongside Joe Parker.

The undercard is good enough, especially if the event lasts about 4-5 hours.

I really hope they have their pacing figured out better. And yeah, that's a decent undercard. I'm even curious to see what else Kovalev has left.

Yep, in a way, Kovalev is more interesting than any of the others.

David muh "Nyika with Attitude" is gonna have to box the pants off Seitz going off footage I've seen. He ain't gonna win trading shots.

Seitz can **** and if Nyika gets clipped he's gonna know all about it. I don't know that Nyika has had his chin tested to this level before.

If it goes the distance i expect Nyika to get the nod. Seitz gas tank doesn't seem the best. Controlling distance and stamina will be the key.

I gotta back my fellow Aotearoan. Leshkau David!!
