Winning in four divisions is not an easy feat and he beat consistent solid good competition like Salido (41-11-2,1 NC), Juan Manuel Lopez (33-2), Martinez (30-1-2), Zlaticanin (22-0), Broner (33-2. 1 NC), Lipinets (13-0), Easter Jr (21-0) and Vargas (29-2-2). He didn't sweep the divisions like Naoya Inoue is doing. Not that it's easy thing, just that he is taking on the hardest challenges.

But to say his career was on par with the greatest fighters in ANY division he fought is difficult to imagine. He might be a HOF being a former P4P fighter due to skill and four division Champion, he is greater than let's say Vaquero Navarrete and Shakur Stevenson (so far) in terms of achievements. But he could had achieved more he taken risks even if he had more losses. (Not like the beating he took by fighting a big ass Spence at WW)

He had phenomenal skills and good power. Perhaps only Loma could possibly beaten him if he had stayed in 135-140.
Garcia blatantly quit against Salido and never beat anyone that was "great", as opposed to "good" themselves. Imo his only "in" to HOF is off the back of being a four division titleist.

Bread must be big on Tommy Fury based on that take.

McBride did have some bad losses and wasn't a great fighter. But I wouldn't judge him just based on his worst performances and say that because 2 lower level guys stopped him, therefore Paul would. Because you could just as easily look at how a past-prime McBride took a prime Adamek the distance. Adamek was cruiserweight champion, 43-1 record, and he knocked out legit top 10 fighters. So surely if he can't finish McBride, Paul can't.

McBride had lots of wins against guys with records like 23-6, 15-1, 38-12. So not top 10 guys but solid pros. It would be a massive assumption to think that Paul could face a run of guys like that without taking multiple losses.

I wish Lomachenko and/or Bob Arum hadn’t ducked Mikey Garcia.
