If he gives a **** about really being great then he should fight Mosely, Pac, Cotto AND Williams, then clear out the up and comers when there's no one else left. He hardly takes a punch so could feasibly fight another 5 or 6 years and still remain in the same condition.

The ironic thing is he would probably beat them all, but is there a single person on here who thinks he will actually fight all of them? Of course not.

Why dont we crucify PAC-MAN for fighting Oscar, diaz, cotto and not facing, Bradley, Torress, marquez again, Holt, Campbell because inside we truly know he not only would lose but would get torn apart by just as athletic and hard hitting guys that he just cant beat or is it he cant fight everyone.

I remeber Larry Merchant asking Mayweather why wouldn't you stay at 135 when there are still challenges out there. Nobody ask PAC-MAN why are you trying to fight guys that are bigger than you rather than face a division that is loaded at 140 and 135. To be truthful about the whole endeavor. There would be no need for a catch weight we could just fight. I know that just makes to much sense. When PAC does it it is taking risk, when Floyd does it Hes ducking and he will never face a legit WW.

        Who is a real threat.
Cotto - who was already challended and his father said NO.

Mosley- who turned down the chance to fight me twice becus of a vacation and some cosmetic surgery.

P Williams- whom no one outside of Clottey wants to fight. Especially Margarito after the first loss and a chance to redeem his only loss, he avoided williams like the PLAQUE. How about Mosley, he will never say this name less alone claim that he would win against a guy with a reach advantage and a work rate comparable to a HEMI engine.

Berto- the most protected fighter in the industry behind only PAC-MAN. I remember Raheeem destroying E Morrales and Pac still didn't fight Raheem but instead wanted to redeem himself against a leeserr Morales who was shot. This is the same move mayweather made by fighting Judah.

This can go on and on but the fact is everyone outside of P williams fights for the least risk and the most reward.
This has got to be one of the most ******ed responses I've read in a while...

I agree with TS and have been saying this for quite some time. The minute mayweather loses his 0 and realizes that a loss isnt the end of the world he'll realize that he can fight the best, avenge his loss in a rematch and/or enhance with a trilogy, etc. Right now the guys is heavily overrating an undefeated record and it's hurting his legacy no question about it.

He has all the talent, but why he isn't he held in the same regard as past greats? R-E-S-U-M-E.

Well even if he cleaned out the best at 147 he wouldn't even be close to being considered the GOAT
