tbh I think Canelo puts on a poker face but he felt that weight difference when he moved up to 175lbs and knows deep down it's a bit much for him regardless of the W or L so now when he looks at Benevidez and his size what Canelo see's is another big light heavyweight possibly even heavyweight that's young and not coming up against a wall or over the hill..and at the point in his career it's clear that Canelo doesn't really want to deal with that when there is other "Easier" opposition but

I also think Canelo is in for a bit of a surprise when he faces the young new and improved Munguia that will let him know that father time is nearing for him as well I don't think he will lose but he'll see the signs..fighting all those big azz dudes at 5'8 is going to take it's toll by 35 idc how good you are the body is the body and can only endure so much til you get like Froch explained he was when he knew few days ago.

He expressed interest in meeting the winner of Beterbiev vs Bivol?

That would be legendary and tops a fight with Benavidez.

            1. He didn’t beat ggg 3x, he really only deserved to beat him
once. And he’s forgetting that he waited him out for 2 years.
            2. If you know boxing, it’s very easy to see Canelo’s been on a severe risk management approach for years. That’s difficult for canelo fans to comprehend because they’re a combination of dumb and blinded by love.
            3. If his resume was as bullet proof as he’s pretending it to be, he wouldn’t feel the need to defend it. He knows he’s ducking real fights and now he’s defensive about it.

Lol, even if he takes on and beats Benavidez the critics will never stop. Simply because he is Canelo.

That’s what the article said, Rexy. Are you suggesting the writer is lying?
