This vlogger says, among others, Showtime had always funded all of PBC's fights, except, of course, fights not aired on the network. And that the Spence/Crawford rematch didn't happen simply because Showtime was leaving the scene. No one would fund it. Now Amazon won't do the same like Showtime always did. I've seen ppl on twitter saying this, primarily anti-Haymon/PBC ppl, but idu how this deal works if there isn't money being exchanged or a budget. Why would a deal need to be signed at all of there is no money exchanged?

It sounds like hes not in a deal with PBC, but there could be a matching rights clause in place where PBC could match any offer Bud gets. Speculation tho who knows. Everything is always quiet on the PBC side so theres always rumors & confusion about wtf is going on.
