Just take a look at the oversized trashy looking trinkets such as WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, IBO, NABA, NABF & there's no comparison apart from the more up market Ring Magazine belt. Even the gay looking Commonwealth strap & the over sized blue EBU have taken a dive compared with what they were, but the Lord Lonsdale challenge belt has never changed or ever will. It's right up there with the FA Cup, Wimbledon Trophy & the Claret jug. "Pure Class"!!...
It means different things to different people I guess.

Kirklaind Laing may have been the toughest weed-head the universe has ever produced.

Semantics. It's irrelevant. If world belts are worthless then continental belts are even more worthless, and national belts are a whole different tier of worthless.

You can't claim that world titles have become meaningless on one hand and then try to pretend a national belt matters on the other hand. It's a ****** trinket.

Worthlessness appears to be your specialist subject, where did you study floccinaucinihilipilification?

Please indicate where I claimed that world titles have become meaningless? Would you still consider them a ****** trinket if you had one with your name on?
