I would much prefer that Canelo fought Benavidez. But this is not a bad fight at all, considering the other options that were being considered.

But that's the problem, it allows it to be justified in the way you just did

Offer people a total **** sandwich of a fight, then actually give them something slightly better instead, satisfying them just enough to mask the fact they're not getting what they actually want.

He literally tried to get out of his contract rather than fight Benavidez later this year. But whatever helps you sleep at night.

You should look more into the situation instead of just parrotting what others on here say about his issues with the PBC deal.

I give you credit for not denying you made this Alt just to hate on Canelo though.

It could have been worse. It could have been Berlanga or the other Charlo. At least eventually during the fight Munguia will try to make it a fight. Unless Alvarez milage and wear and tear starts showing up I expect him to stop Munguia.

When Canelo signed with PBC i predicted he'd fight lil' Charlo , Jermall then Benavidez.

Jermell took a shet and showed up for a paycheck.
So PBC knew Jermall wouldn't sell enough to make them profit.
They had to scramble to find a Suitable ( financially ) opponent.
Which is Munguia.

Say what you want about the fight.
But it will Sell.
