I think Davison has done wonders for AJ. The AJ who fought Otto & Ngannou is a whole different AJ than the guy who fought Franklin & Helenius.

You're assuming that Fury will fxck up his opportunity. Not out of the realm of possibility, but let's stick to the script. Fury vs Usyk is supposed to happen twice. If MR presents a Joshua fight to Hrgovic, he should think twice before passing on it. If it's for a title that the Uysk/Fury winner is forced to vacate, then Hrgovic should accept it.

Are you implying that boxers need to fight more than once every two years so they'll actually be sharp in the ring? Hehe.

                Lol. I get that.

I was super skeptical of this 20 something guy from nowhere early on too, but after seeing his results I started listening to more interviews/podcasts with him I see why hes getting the results hes getting. This dude is probably the most logical, thoughtful & innovative trainer in the sport today where "old school" is worshipped & new ideas & change are almost shunned. I also like him working with Lee Wylie who was always a great breakdown guy on YT.

These trainers who say I prepare my guy for everything going into a fight with a specific guy & don't watch film are antiquated & ineffective to achieve ones max ceiling in boxing. Ben Davison isn't that type of mfer. He gets guys in tune with who they are & who their opponent is. Other trainers try to mold fighters into something they aren't & rarely watch film for clues & tendencies to exploit. In a boxing world full of Buddy McGirt's, be a Ben Davison.

The activity is because the other parts are right, AJ got his mind right with Ben Davidson and Parker stopped drinking booze a year ago, the activity comes when all things align, people think the activity is the reason they improve its not its the other stuff, the activity is the result not the cause.

This is a good point that I often don't think about. When a fighter is injury-free and their personal life is stable, they are likely to be more active. However, I think there's a good amount of fighters who fall into complacency. Instead of living the life of a professional athlete, they start abusing their bodies during their off-time. I think it becomes easier to stay conditioned if a fighter is consistently active...but some can't or don't want to make the sacrifices necessary.
