Zhang just sleepwalked through the fight with no urgency at all, despite the fact that he could have been the first ever from his country. He read too many headlines of himself I bet. He needs to find a fighter as slow as mud now like Joyce.

Good win for Parker but he has to be careful with that punch resistance. I know Zhang is heavy handed but I didn't expect Parker to go down from the second one especially. I like Parker though he's an excellent boxer and person from what I've seen.

I thought his performance vs Wilder showed a huge resurgence and a big improvement in his style. He just repeated that again, this time with a lot more adversity with the much bigger and powerful Zhang, with 2 KD’s to boot. Still won.
And to Parker's credit... he didn't (neither did us as fans), know what type of Wilder we were gonna get. He brought the fight to Wilder and wasn't scared. He fought an extremely dangerous puncher and embarrassed him.

While I don’t see it, the fight was close in the first 4-ish rounds, then you have the two KD’s.

Personally, I thought Parker won clearly. But I can see how a blind ass judge can get confused and score it a draw.

Everyone wants easy fights and to develop that way. Instead, Parker has gone in with whoever wanted it. He's shared the ring with the best fighters available right through his twenties and early thirties.

He's a very experienced fighter now and still only 32. Young for a heavyweight.

Still think he lacks something special at the very highest level but he's legitimately a top 5 fighter.

Main event soon. Crazy that they're fighting around 3.30am Saudi time.

Anyway, I think AJ beats him comfortably. There's no element of surprise and AJ isn't the type to turn up half arsed.

He yelled, "What's next is... I'm gonna fight Zhang again!"

And then it was just "cricket..."

He's comparable to Shawn Porter. Porter pretty much fought everyone, win or lose...he always tried to give his best.

Parker is still young just like Porter was when he retired.
