Don't forget that Fury was close to 180 kilos at some point, which destroyed his body and currently, he doesn't seem to live a strict athlete style. He's built this way, true, but before sinking into drugs and alcohol, he was ok. Zhang, indeed, looks good for the weight and height.

      [QUOTE=PRINCEKOOL;n32192731]

Compare Parker at the 6 round mark vs Joyce, to Zhang at the 6 round mark vs Joyce.

Who was more fatigued? Parker was putting in more effort, and fatiguing more than Zhang.

Note: Zhang due to his power, mass and boxing skills 'Does not always need to out work his opponent's'.

Zhang effectively nullified Joyce's work-rate in both fights 'It was as if, Joyce could not really get motoring'.

Parker's endurance is solid enough, but? He has never shown that he has Joe Calzaghe type work-rate.

I am unsure why, all of a sudden 'People are claiming that Parker, is going to turn up in this fight and alter his style dramatically'.

Stylistically this is the most difficult fight of Parker's career since fighting Anthony Joshua 'Which was a fight, were he lost most of the rounds and really did not want to push the action'.

Historically Parker has always fought apprehensively and more to survive than to win 'Whenever he fights a physically strong Heavyweight, who can box with proven power'.

Wilder only really has the attribute of power to a high level, and this was why? Parker was able to exploit Wilder, with his superior boxing skills and solid fundamentals.

Zhang is a stylistically difficult fight for Parker 'Wilder was a dangerous fight, but stylistically I don't think it is the same level of challenge as Zhang.

Winning rounds vs Zhang is going to be difficult for Parker 'Zhang boxing skills are proven to a good level. Zhang is a two time Olympian, Olympic silver Medalist and World Championship medalist'. Hurting Zhang is also going to be difficult, Zhang vs Joyce showed that he has a good level of durability.

Before Parker fought Wilder, everyone in boxing knew that Parker was a superior fighter to Wilder in many area's 'The only area of boxing, where Wilder could claim he was superior was with his puncher power and aggression'.

When you analyse the attributs of both Zhang and Parker 'They are both very competitive with each other, in all area's of boxing. And in certain area's Zhang on current form, is appearing to be superior'.

Pure boxing ability: Both fighters have proven boxing ability, Parker's being marginally more proven. Durability: Both fighters have proven durability, Zhang's durability on current form seems to be stronger. Endurance: Both fighters have fought in distance fights, Parker I would say in this area has the better endurance. Power: Both fighters have proven power, but Zhang's power on current form appears to be superior.

So as you can see, this fight is not a straight forward fight for Joseph Parker 'It is very difficult to envision a specific winning game plan for Parker'.

But I can envision Parker surviving 'If he makes that his intention, but I don't think that sort of attitude is going to win him the fight'.

How Parker fought Joyce 'I believe he has to fight Zhang with those sort of tactics, but with a superior defense'. That is a extremely difficult and potentially brutal way to win a fight.

I don't think it is a good idea, for anybody to buy into the notion 'That Zhang is just going to disappear in a long distance fight'.

Parker's win vs Wilder 'Was a great win, but it was no master class'. Parker himself was very reluctant to rate it as his best ever performance, because the fight was that easy.

Joseph Parker will truly have to for me fight one of his best ever fights 'To beat Zhilei Zhang' etc.

      [/QUOTE
all great points but I think Parker speed and movement will give zhang trouble. Joyce is vertical straight up and down fighter who is right front of you so it was easy for zhang to hit him plus Joyce is as slowest HW of all time.

I would have to agree with David Haye here. This is a very risky style matchup for Joseph Parker.

Zhang. Zhilei cannot only **** but he can also box. The question is how is Parker is going to fight this big motherfucker off of him!

                Zhang did look good physically.
I'm just gutted he didn't find the adjustment to Parker,
e.g. left uppercut or something similar to keep Parker from ducking under and clinching
