It could be better but it’s not terrible. He definitely has avoided the top guys at 135. IMO it doesn’t deserve a top 10 p4p ranking.

If Tank was from anywhere other than America ( or worked for other than PBC/Floyd) his resume wouldn’t be an issue.

A lot of top tier boxers from Mexico and Eastern Europe have accumulated wins over much lesser talent than Tank has. Few have an issue.

There are also those with much better resumes that can’t draw fans like Tank has but can't draw or sell tickets. This is the real issue.

The posters who are on their 3rd account because the others were permabanned for racist posts are crying and spewing vitriol in this thread. I am not talking about El Mero the TS.

Why these losers are mad that Tank has become a star because he can draw fans and sell tickets despite their criticism of his resume is silly.

Underwhelming, plus he's inactive. If he wasn't an American with gold teeth, tattoos and a social media presence hardly anyone would care.

Honestly, what's his best win at 30 years old? Was it Ryan who's never beaten anyone or was it Pedraza back in the day? The guy is pushing 30, and really doesn't have a signature win on his resume that I am impressed with. Go beat Shakur, Teo, Haney or even Loma at this point and you have an elite name on your resume finally. They're all right there within 5 lbs but somehow the fights never get made from the so called A side

Managed to avoid every top name in his weight class for almost a decade.

TMT are probably very proud of that.

kind of lame, he is nearing 30 and not much has happened, he also isnt growing in weight like the other guys, if he is going to stay at 135 then he should have sought out fights when they were available. Haney, Loma. He can still fight shakur but when the hell is that goign to happen?

There are so many fights we never got to see of him. The biggest name was Cryan? that guy is a joke and quit, didnt even let Davis get a deserved full out knockout because he just quit when it got too hard.

Personally I think he has a solid resume, although not exactly outstanding due to the stipulations applied for some fights affecting his opponents attrition, reflexes, athleticism and durability to a degree. (Barrios, and Garcia.)

While the outcome between Santa Cruz and Davis was obvious based on their styles and advantages/disadvantages, Davis had moved back down to 130 to fight for the belt without any advantageous conditions against the HOF.

Pedraza is a solid win against a undefeated former champion. Though he has lost all his major fights.

his wins over Hector Luis Garcia (super featherweight who moved up to lightweight), Yorerkis Gamboa and Rolando Romero aren't aging well. Isaac Cruz has also not proven himself which might imply he is getting overrated because of one performance where he lost.

Gervonta needs at least one Marquee at 135-140 win like a Lopez, Lomachenko, Stevenson, or Haney to be in Hall of Fame.

A win over Martin or Matias might age well.

Dude why everything with you is always about people being mad and hating on fighters in a certain camp, of a certain ethnicity.

Stop crying because not everybody is a big fan and can critcize these guys you overpedestalize.

Makes you look like a weak, whining crybaby.

                      I answered the thread question.

The better question is why do certain posters do that?

This is about his resume. Whether you are a fan or not it doesn’t matter. At no point did I state anyone need be a fan.

I also called Tank out in my answer.

The only weak and whining crybaby is you, chasing me from thread to thread looking for my attention.

                      Go away loser.
