Has one-fight-a-year become a standard in boxing and no longer a big deal?

Not a big deal anymore. It's even used as an instant excuse when the 'one fight a year' guy don't perform up to par.

I want to see boxing be huge and the fighters get paid well.
But anyone getting paid well isn't going to risk themselves unnecessarily.
If they get paid less they'll fight more, and make big fights more frequently.
As fans we actually want boxing to do worse. And it will happen. There will be another cycle.MusoMeanderings likes this.
