Every man and his dog knows Canelo has a yellow streak down his back when it comes to Bivol and Benavidez. I don’t recall the last time a top boxer got whipped and then didn’t immediately want revenge. Even when ultra limited wilder got murked by Fury he sued to get a rematch with him. That’s 1,000 times more heart than Canelo will ever haveComment

Did You forget?
Last seven months Crawford has been locked in a Rematch contract with Spence

The rematch clause with Spence held everything up, (minus IBF who stripped him). We'll see what happens next now that the Spence rematch is off apparently.Comment

All this drama has me watching who Canelo is going to face next. He might skip Cinco de Mayo all together with an injury.Comment

The problem that I have with your theory is how can Canelo be passionate about fighting a guy like Berlanga? I could see if it was Morrell or Mbilli but Edgar is a cherry pick. No two ways about it!It makes me think of something, and it'll be strange to mention.
A big Hollywood star does a big commercialised movie for box office reasons, and then does a smaller, independent film that they really are more passionate about.
Perhaps I'm talking nonsense, but anyway, I don't think a top fighter like Canelo is afraid or anything. If he does want to fight Benavidez, he is sure making him wait. He'd probably prefer if Benavidez has a tough opponent before fighting him.

This is clearly the single biggest duck within the last 5-10 years of the sport. Canelo is successfully ruining his "legacy" by the day looolComment

You're not playing devils advocate this time, you're actually burning that devilish Canelo, and his double dealing, lying, drama queen theatrics!Mike Tyson has accused Canelo Alvarez (60-2-2, 39 KOs) of disrespecting boxing and Mexico with the undisputed super middleweight champion allegedly walking away from a lucrative proposal to face his mandatory challenger David Benavidez (28-0, 24 KOs).

He hasn't only walked away from a lucrative proposal to face his mandatory David Benavidez, he's been running from him for THREE YEAR'S!!!
