Sucks to say how boxing is being run right now but that's just how it is, Canelo is in business mode with easy, pick'em fights. The only right thing to do is to strip Canelo of his belts if he doesn't face his mandos.
hate to say this, but anyone of us in his position right now would do the same...

Yeah, I don't blame him, once any fighter hits 30 years old they are chancing it with Father Time.

        Because he can.

Yes, Canelo should fight him next.

Canelo would have just NOT fought for undisputed if Benavidez didn’t lose that belt.

He's leveraging what is left of his popularity and PPV drawing power. One more loss in today's era of casuals, and he'll be mocked as a washed up hype job. Canelo knows his limitations. He tried to get a fight with Jermall but Charlo backed away. Berlanga's team said he isn't ready. He wanted a rematch with Bivol at 175 but not 168 so he wouldn't have to risk his titles, that's a bad look for a champion. Benavidez deserves a shot. The corrupt sanctioning bodies should make him a mandatory and need to strip Canelo if he refuses to fight him. It looks like the only other two options left are Munguia and Morrell. Unless he looks for a fight outside of the current contenders with a Youtuber or MMA fighter.

This has been Canelo's MO since losing to Mayweather, and he has successfully copied Mayweather's blueprint...

Bivol really did ruin this man.

I would like Canelo to face Benavidez, but if he doesn't, let's not pretend for a second it's on the same plane of existence when it comes to shaming boxing as the things Tyson did.

Canelo has never chased Legacy. Why would he walk out in silk pajamas, wear pink to fight Bivol and those ******-ass steam punk sunglasses . . . He's vain and he chases the adulation of the masses. That's why he uses drugs as well. No heart.

Mike Tyson is spot on. I've said this before Canelo is one of the most protected fighters and lacks heart to take on the best. He wants the money and the recognition but not take on the risks. Whst happens the delusional Canelo fans get so butt hurt its a joke. Mike Tyson has now said the same, Good on you Mike.
