collazo was close enough to deserve the rematch but its nowhere near as good of a fight than mosley/berto...Cotto/Pac..williams/Palvik..Mosley/Berto are great fights to end the year and then start it back up...lets hope it doesnt get ruined for dumb ****

I don't see how this fight is going to increase Mosley's leverage if it's not. And not only that, even if it is a unification fight, are they going to strip Mosley right after his victory or Berto if he happened to pull off the upset?

I think Mosley/Berto would be a good ass fight. But it wouldnt do **** for Mosley's resume. Berto's a young untested buck he should give Collazo a rematch, Collazo did give him all the trouble he could handle but I see berto studying his own flaws well in that fight (that were obvious) and perfecting it to a UD win.

King is always ruining things, he should be banned. Who cares about Collazo, yeah he gave Berto his toughest fight but Mosley can actually beat Berto, all Collazo can do is give him another tough fight.

ah look Iceta .. another WBC/Berto/Collazo topic lol. as for the bit about King demanding a rematch for Collazo he has no arument as

                  1. purse bid for Collazo-Berto II was canceled .. if that wasn't enough

                  2. Collazo was bumped in the rankings to #2 .. not making him the WBC mandatory challenger anymore and lastly

                  3. undefeated Welterweight Selcuk Aydin won a WBC Final Eliminator his last fight out which was back in July, so if anyone should be complaining for a fight with Berto it should be Aydin.

sorry but King and especially Collazo have no right to complain. if the networks don't want to pick up the fight thats understandable and a bit out of their control

but for Collazo to just sit on his ranking and fight tomato cans until he gets his title shot is BS

I had a big gripe about Herman Ngoudjo getting his second title shot at Urango such a short time after losing his first title shot to Paulie Malignaggi.. but at least Herman fought and won an Eliminator to maintain his ranking leading up to the Urango bout

**other then complain what has Collazo done to maintain his standing?

Collazo needs to do something to make the public want to see him, he's a B+ fighter. Mosely represents just as tough of a challenge for Berto as Collazo does plus he brings name recognition.

Collazo needs to think about Judah a,good solid fight bewteen two southpaws. Which Collazo wins easily.
