manny is a welter since he fought oscar at welter. he's just a small welter who has yet to fight and beat a legit welter. floyd has been a welter for years and we've been waiting for him to fight a legit welter for years(margarito, cotto, mosley)

Floyd will fight the wiiner, the loser is ****ed in that match up and if thats Cotto he will likely see Margorito for a rematch or fight on Espn...he loses this and he's done.

na cotto/margarito 2 will be ppv. no espn yet for cotto, if he loses to pac he loses to the best in the world. thats why he's a 3 to 1 underdog.

If he fights the loser instead of the winner then, yes, it's ducking.

            That's also true.

Cotto wasn't as popular then as he is now. So it can still happen.
More likely if he beats Manny.

That's why I ask. Cotto is still a welter even if he loses.

So he may be on-board with a Pac vs Matweather fight .... if, if they can get the negotiations down.
With all that money lying in wait. I don't see how it can not happen.

it doesn't matter who floyd fights---if he fights the loser first---then that's okay---he'll fight the winner next and still beat him--just like he did with judah and baldomir---then shane has his ass whooping coming---then paul williams...

if pac calls out floyd if he beats cotto---then he is just basically sealing his ass kicking----and floyd will be there to deliver it to him---coz floyd will punish that kid, trust me---cotto and mosley also---paul williams too...

I think it depends on how bad he loses. Cotto has a bit more to prove in this coming fight as far as handling speed well.

Floyd fought Judah after Judah's loss to Baldomir. So, he ducked Baldomir
                but beat them both subsequently.
