Way better than the Charlo or Berlanga fight, and we all Benavidez is going in another direction. If they make this one I’ll be watching, and I know you will, too.
Yes, better than berlanga and charlo, step or two down from benavidez. By the way, benavidez was pushed into another direction, not his first choice, obviously canelo was lying about not fighting another mexican, he should have say "I won't fight another mexican if he has a chance of beating me".

Canelo ducked his mandatory and its 8 weeks out and he "might" fight Mungia, no contract signed. When exactly is Mungia supposed to start his training camp? canelo has probably BEEN in camp for like 3 weeks now.

      Canelo is a joke

The funny part is people hate on Ryan Garcia but at least he is fighting the best and biggest fights. He might lose but he goes all in. Canelo last few fights have been trash ever since he tried to cherry pick Bivol and got slapped.

That is his M.O. Fight old past prime guys, fight guys and give them only 6 weeks to train, fight guys who are 3 weight classes below him. Then when he tried to cherry pick he gets beat

First, Benavidez said he will campaign in both weights not that he’s leaving 168. Second, Canelo is the so called A side, that’s what they do. They don’t like to be dictated to. The last clear A side, Mayweather did the exact same thing too. He fought whomever he wanted to fight whenever he wanted to regardless what u fans say. So yes it makes logical sense

The A side runs away? Oh cool. Shouldnt Canelo have wanted to fight Benavidez and give the fans the fight they want, rather than needing to be forced? Eddie hearn was saying Canelo is looking for a real war, someone who comes to fight, so Benavidez was that man. Instead he ran from him to fight a can. Canelo fans are literally sick people.

Look at the bunch of hypocrites on this thread now begging for Canelo to go to Dazn to get the Benny fight
These same losers last week were making fun of Dazn , which I couldn’t give a fugh about cause I’m a boxing fan firstborn and foremost
                I just find it ironic

Well with the WBA confirming that Berlanga is now Morrells mandatory and not Canelos that should put an end to that fight. How did no one know this before the McCrory fight? Eddie Hearn definitely didn't. Or maybe he did.....

Anyway Benevidez is in a strong position. The WBC should be confirming him as mandatory this month which should mean it's the fight for September. Needs to fight around the same time as Canelo though to finish his own 3 fight contract with PBC. Doesn't need any existing contractual complications getting in the way. And then based on the $60m valuation Benevidez would be entitled to $18m-$24m.

Cinnamon vs Mungia is the biggest commercial fight Canelo could actually make, especially if he stops crying and agrees to Oscar promoting the fight
