Fans on social media, forums, or any kind of gathering, have no influence on what fights get made. Arguing and debating by opposing or supporting a potential matchup, for example, has no bearing on what promoters, managers, fighters want or decide to make. That's why I find it silly when posters argue and cry about why such and such fight is defended / opposed. As if it would make any difference.

it just sucks because i didnt catch on to manny until his fight with oscar... so i missed all his early fights against morales, barrera, etc... i would hear my co-workers talking about it but during this time, UFC was at an all time high so i was a huge UFC fan and not so much into boxing until around 2007.

not all fights we want happen - but we have Ryan vs Haney, hopefully Usyk vs Fury and Beterbiev vs Bivol - last year we got Spence vs Crawford and Tank vs Ryan - boxing continues to frustrate but still delivers once in a while
