You obviously didn't start watching boxing until May 2023 so let me cue you in a few things Nancy. Tank accepted a fight against Ryan Garcia last April 2023 that guaranteed him a purse of 5 million with rest coming from the PPV upside. Well the fight generated 1.2-1.4 mill PPV buys which made his upside somewhere north of 40 million since his cut was around 45 mill and KingRy made about 30 mill. So I think k he knows a lil more about PPV upside than you and Pricess Edwina. Man I wish you were a real boxing fan!

Why is Hearn wasting his time with a guy who is currently banned from fighting in his own country and hasn't beaten anyone yet, against a named guy 2/3 weight divisions lower. I thought he was the best 'promoter' in the world(according to himself)!

He's not "banned" from fighting in his own country.

He was refused his license on the basis that the BBBoC have appealed the decision of the hearing they LOST and Benn's suspension was lifted. Which is no more than a technicality and they know it.

So he's not suspended or banned.

Well Tank has a manager and a promoter. If there is not contract he might as well be free to do what he wants to do. No one knows if he has any contracts and what they say, going to another promoter might be a breach of contract. Promoters have a way in not letting fights happen and that has been evident by boxing's history.

Yes, at the very end if a fighter pressures his management team for a fight more than likely he will get it but another promoter cannot negotiate for him.

The only fighter I’ve actually seen controlled by a manager / promotion stuff is Wilder really ,the guy talking about slave drivers in the U.K yet he’s the actual one still being controlled like a puppet not as much now bc he has no belt . The only other thing is being tied exclusively to a promotion unless co promotion happens . It’s funny how top guys don’t get on the same promotion and we either never see a fight or the fight doesn’t happen for years and years . This where the Saudi situation comes in . Creating an undisputed belt is the right direction where it’s not tied up in any of the sanctioned bodies .

Never said they were controlled. They have a contractual obligation to whatever it is. Easy to say from here that they can do what they want. The Saudi money is so much that there is no promotional rivalry and everyone bends the rules to get a piece of it
