Wasn’t the original plan for September Canelo vs Jermall though? I’m sure I seen reports saying Jermell stepped up because Jermall wasn’t available.

Should feed Jermall to Benavidez IMO.

I’d like to see Bud fight Tszyu assuming he deals with Thurman.

Benavidez is going to 175 so I think that isn’t happening.

Tim would be a solid fight but Crawford wants Charlo or Canelo. Sadly, Charlo stunk it up so bad he lessened the potential revenue for that Crawford fight.

Word on the Twitter/X street is that Bud Crawford has also split up with the Pbc. There goes that potential Ennis fight.

Ennis is also a free agent. If PBC is the only platform everyone is relying on for that fight, yeah, it's gone. But why limit themselves with just one platform assuming they both agree to fight?

Fair point, I forgot Ennis is a free agent as well.

Ennis is foolish if he decides to sign a long-term deal to PBC. His fights keep falling through.

Blame Canelo. He fights who he chooses to fight. Nobody forced him to fight 154 pound Charlo.

Yeah I seen the Gvodzyk fight is being rumoured. Must be tough for him to make 168 but PBC don’t really have anything for him at 175. Hopefully he fight the Beterbiev-Bivol winner but I don’t know how realistic that is.

This is the kind of crap that Alvarez pulls. He fights disadvantaged fighters. His original plan was to fight Jermall, who had been away from boxing for two years and was suffering from mental health issues. When he realized he wasn't ready, Jermall declined and in steps his smaller brother Jermell, who had himself been out of the ring for 18 months. Canelo was all over that, but he'll have nothing to do with a younger, stronger, on-point mandatory challenger in Benavidez. Hell, no!
