Canelo wants to fight B and C fighters for 40 million a pop because he doesn't want to lose.

let Eddie give him a fortune for Berlanga and Munguia. Let actual fighters have good fights. I just wish the ABC's would strip him, but they want that 4%

They wanted Benavidez to only throw punches every other round probably.

Its hard to say Eddy has been a trash manager when everyone has made so much money, but the thing is a feral cat who moved Canelo's career based on names of opponents by food bowls coulda made everyone a ton of money & probably more.

I think PBC's scrambling to find Canelo a suitable opponent.
Their original plan of Lil Charlo , Big Charlo then Benavidez blew up in their face when Jermell took a shet in their last fight.

I figure they know Big Charlo won't sell.
So now they're trying to go with Plan B.

          Who Plan B is ?
          I'm not sure.

But I'm guessing they're having a bit of trouble finding somebody if Munguia ( who's with GBP ) is being mentioned.

          Point is.
For all the doubters out there.

I think Canelo will still fight Benavidez in his last fight with PBC.

The WBC's already setting it up for Benavidez to fight Gvodyk for the LHW " title ".
          Which is a dirty move.
But a good way to sell the Canelo / Benavidez fight when it happens.

I am just speculating tbh, what do people think is happening?

A big part of that PBC deal was PPV fights on Showtime. Now Showtime is out of the boxing business and it’s not clear what Amazon is willing to invest in boxing.

I would imagine the change in network deals would provide an out if Canelo isn’t down with what Haymon is doing with Amazon. I’m not sure Haymon has the financial backing to put in a big fight. He blew through his investors money with PBC mainly doing one sided showcase fights and then had a lot of inactive guys because he didn’t have the money for fights for them.

Canelo is insisting on fighting Jermall who seems to have mental health and drinking issues right now. PBC doesn't want to pay 35 million on that fight so Canelo is going back to DAZN for easy fights.

I always felt that PBC could never handle their own when it came to behind the scenes work that goes into setting up a boxing event. They always needed to leech off Showtime, FOX, NBC when it came to the production side of things. I have no ill will towards PBC but Haymon has literally killed American boxing when it comes to getting broadcast on networks.
