i think that would be a good fight maybe b-hop could fight dawson before he fights jones HAHA i know that would never happen though...but another thing i was curious about is what if hopkins beats jones in the rematch that would make a rubber match a must and since the first rematch took 16 years to make whats gonna happen for the third fight?they gonna fight when theyre 60? haha

Hopkins can't fight Dawson before Jones ; Dawson is booked already with the Johnson rematch, and HBO is giving him 6 months off afterwards to recover.

There's no way Hopkins could fight him before Roy.

Same goes with Adamek ; he's tied up with Golota on the 24th.

That's why he needed a guy like Ornelas ; all the "names" are booked.

A rubbermatch is possible, I wouldn't rule it out if Hopkins beats Roy.

I have so been waiting for Floyd to say this. Honestly, I thought about this non stop after the JMM fight when Hopkins was all on Shane's nuts about how Floyd should fight Shane. Floyd is great friends with Dawson and said that Chad was #1 P4P when he retired. Dawson was there in the post fight presser. Floyd brought up his name but I wanted him to throw Hopkins under the bus and say that he should fight him. I bet if anything wouldve broken out, that Dawson wouldve jumped up for Floyd and went after Hopkins. That wouldve been classic

1-c'mon man dont be so damn sensitive,i got our bets sig'd now ,it's all in good and fun ,2-back to the thread,it is kind of funny when 146 pounder is talking about a "challenge". He is doing more challenging about this fight going on than he is about challenging other fighters in the ring with him.3-i think the roy vs ex should be a good fight,i have always liked roy's style.if and when he gets past green in december and he goes on to fight ex cuz i won't believe it till fight the 24/7 happens ,i hope he throws them same 5,6 quick combos and he has his mental game focused.he always the tools to get the job done , but it seems his mental game is not always 100%.i really didnt think merk was a great trainer ,i think roy sr is way better for him as far as being that person to take him back to the "old roy" and not a "roy that is old".still got to go with ex..for rite now.
