We can go 'round and 'round with the zillion excuses.

The reality is that Hopkins' next two fights are against a mediocre Mexican middleweight, Ornelas, and an ancient and shot Roy Jones.

        That wasn't an excuse.

        Check your facts.

Straight after Jones vs Calzaghe, Hopkins told Roy to retire. He had no intention of fighting him.

The middleweight he is fighting is a tune up for Jones.

I was just looking at ESPN boxing, and there was a poll up about who would win the rematch. The **** was at over 29,000 votes, most boxing polls they do rarely approach 10k, so there is obviously some intrest in this fight which at this stage of these guys careers is more then enough reason to have a rematch.

Also though Jones is past his best I do not know if B-Hop is really the same type of fighter as the fighters that have beaten him, so I think it could be fairly interesting. Plus there is a lot of bad blood between them that is always good for entertainment (atleast in the lead up).

The hypocrisy is Bernard telling Floyd to not fight smaller fighters, well kinda. Check it out:

            Hopkins a Former MW fighting:

            Trinidad former WW
De La Hoya former WW who then grew to be a JMW had to blow to MW to fight Hopkins
            Tarver Natural LHW(good win)
Wright Natural JMW fighting at 5lbs south of LHW
Calzaghe Former SMW coming up in weight(B-Hop Lost)
Pavlik Natural MW fighting at 5lbs south of LHW

Floyd a Former Super Featherweight fighting:

            Marquez(Former FW)
            Hatton(Former JWW)
De La Hoya(Former WW but Floyd fought him at JMW a weight he has never been in and DLH was already considered a natural JMW)
Baldomir(Natural WW who later moved up to JMW)
            Judah(Natural WW)

So Floyd fought the smaller guys his whole career huh? yeah, okay/

Floyd is great friends with Dawson and said that Chad was #1 P4P when he retired. Dawson was there in the post fight presser. Floyd brought up his name but I wanted him to throw Hopkins under the bus and say that he should fight him. I bet if anything wouldve broken out, that Dawson wouldve jumped up for Floyd and went after Hopkins. That wouldve been classic
I thought only I noticed that, good point but the Floyd haters will find some more ignorant **** to say. tho im strarting to find them funny then the FLoyd stans go crazy lol but i agree wiht you

He's not going out of his way to say this. He only said it because Hopkins keeps ripping on him. He's not a hypocrite, he's telling Hopkins to stop talking smack about him and doing the same thing like a hypocrite
WOo WOo wwwooooo! When Pansie Floyd does what BHOP has done in his career and defends his division for over a decade fight top guys and continue to dominate over 40 without retiring then that fight ducking moron can talk ****.
