Being she has a natural wrestlers body she needs to be focused on grappling & kickboxing.her ground work is mediocre @ best, had she not had a name this would've been a loss

Its honestly surprising how bad she is. They've been giving her soft touch opponents she should be steamrolling and shes somehow managing to go life and death with them, or lose to them. Her punching power is poor even in MMA gloves as well so even that cant save her. If this is the level shes at after 3 years and at 28 years old its probably time to accept MMA as a failed experiment for her.

She took a bigger risk here than some boxers take in their entire boxing career. Props to Shields for venturing into what is basically a completely different sport.

Didn't even know she was fighting, that's how irrelevant she is to the sport. Yawn.

3 years isnt a long time tbf mate especially if she is still doing her boxing training too....think a lot of boxing fans think all that is needed is that elite boxers need to learn a bit of takedown defence and they are good to go but isnt that simple

She needs to stick to boxing. Once she goes up in competition, she will either get hurt, put to sleep, suffer a submission. Her excuse for lack of knockouts was the rounds were too short, however you have other women with higher knockout percentages than her in boxing. One would think, if she had real power, she would put people to sleep in another sport with thinner padded gloves.

3 years is more than long enough for anyone with potential to easily dispose of the level of opposition shes being put in with. They are day one opponents. Her first opponent was the same girl that Kayla Harrison fought in her debut, Kayla stopped her in the first round.

There have been NFL players competing with top 10-15 level opponents in MMA less than 3 years from starting, and they dont even have a combat sports background like her. Brock Lesnar was competing for UFC titles in half the time that Shields has been doing this.

Shes just bad. Like genuinely surprisingly bad. Not saying it was ever likely she was gonna be elite, but I thought she'd at least have a decent knack for it and be able to take out the kind of opponents shes being fed without trouble.
