These 'solutions' just create more problems.....like Adames being refused his title shot. Then look at how Crawford is waiting around at WW instead of fighting a top contender there or at 154.

These are the main reasons why I want Canelo to drop the titles, even-though I won't lose sleep if he doesn't face Benavidez. Another solution to the current SMW problem is the sanctioning bodies coming together to create a mini-tourney to find one mandatory contender for their Undisputed champion.
Creating an 'interim' belt at 175 is a scandal. We were on course to have a 'clean' undisputed champion (no 'regular', 'interim' or other decorative belts) and now we won't, largely, as far as I can tell, to avoid Canelo having to drop a belt in the division below.

The ABC bodies are shameless, this we can be sure of. However, didn't Benavidez's team say he would be moving back down afterwards? He's complicit because he continues to run on the hamster wheel, and so is every fighter who continues to step-aside or not drop their titles or rankings in the face of absolute bullshxt rulings. Canelo already wields power due to his cash-cow status, but he's being emboldened and enabled by many involved in the business.

Benavidez should face Gvozdyk and stay put at LHW. He's allowing himself to be manipulated for the sake of a $$$ fight.

I also think he should drop the titles and let the division move on. He's not going to fight Benavidez

I think he'll fight Benavidez once it benefits him. Benavidez already has the right style and ethnicity/nationality to be marketable, but Canelo won't be forced to fight any particular person. Canelo is waiting for something.

Canelo also derailed a Jermell, Crawford mega fight for undisputed at 154. He is ruining the sport.
