Let's hope that they actually get made. There's a ton of potential for great fights at 140.

A majority of the top 10 are with DAZN/GB/MR and ESPN/Top rank, shouldn't be that hard to make these fights.

Russell and the new cat Hitchins are with Amazon/PBC, hopefully they fight in the near future, winner of that can mix it up with the rest of them.

I would love it, but I'm not sure if Arum would do it, after Teo's last performance! Even then, it wouldn't be until June, so who does Matias fight next?

Ergashev landed 18% of his punches.
Ponce landed 21% of his punches.

Matias defense has been better than Lopez.
Lopez been dropped by pillowfist like Sandor Martin and Kambosos. Prime Loma TKOs Teofimo. Teofimo blocks punches with his Doug Funny nose and is a hispanic version of Adrien Broner. Hypejob who's ego and mental health issue is too heavy for his small body.

Lopez is a small 140 with not elite KO power. 2KOs in his last 8 fights and Lopez is wondering why no one pays to see him fight. Matias has faced heavier hitters than Lopez and if Lopez thinks Matias is going to let him swing on him without being punished, he will very disappointed. Lopez has too much scar tissue on his nose, hes a low volume puncher with no real KO power at 140.

Lopez is an emotional fighter and mentally checks out if a fight isnt going his way. Matias will maul him and delete him faster than Dadashev. A counter puncher has the advantage over a volume swarmer but Matias has unique and unconvential tools to negate Lopez counter game. Lopez will throw wide shots and miss, where as Matias will throw compact short shots and be in range because he has a 72 inch reach. I told you to join a boxing gym back in January. Subriel Matias deteated the most undefeated fighters at 140. His first 20 opponents were 429-84.
            * #1 at 140 in punches landed/thrown per round. Lands at 39% which is #2 at 140 currently.

            * unconvential timing. Times the jab. Utilize his own counter jab. Defense has been better Ergashev only landed 18% of his punches against Matias and Ponce only landed 21%. The LW average is 29%.

            * cuts off the ring exceptionally well. Richardson Hitchins admitted "you cant keep Matias on the outside." Even Shakur Stevenson said Matias will put you through hell.

            * bodywork/inside fighting. His short punches have multi dimensions. Matias has fast heavy hands, fly swatter style, short compact punches that slip and sneak in between the opponents guard and punches.

            - ducked by Prograis/Taylor since 2019. Currently avoided by Lopez/Haney.

In a brutal way, it's better to be knocked out with one punch than beaten for 15-36 minutes with several punches. It's a physiological pressure. Thus, why many opponents don't see the 6th round.

Matias fights style and mentality. Matias throws unconventional punches. He peppers a few shots, fly swatter punches, short compact style. Matias throws unconventional combinations. Hell, throw an uppercut and follow it with the same hand jab. He also jabs with his opponents. Matias throws arm punches, so he spends less on his energy bar, throwing punches compared to a fighter who throws waist punches. Arm punches spend less energy than waist punches, and this allows Matias to throw 88-97 punches a round without trying to throw hard. Matias will go from 40% to 80% in sequences with unconvential timing.

Ergashev, Jumkembayev, Ponce spend a lot of energy throwing their punches, their energy bar runs out, and Matias takes advantage of this. Matias is naturally heavy-handed, so he's able to get away with throwing punches that don't look special, but hearing them in person or live broadcast Matias had thunderous gunshots for punches. It makes me squeamish seeing him land on his victims. Matias mindstate goes as far as him saying he's willing to die for victory and Matias has faced death twice (shot in PR), loss his brother to gun violence and had to deal with prison time.

            * Side note: Matias first match with Anayan resulted in a loss, and the rematch was a TKO for Matias. In the first match, it was very close since Matias won the first 7 rounds. In both fights, Anayan had serious injuries, and after the rematch, he retired from boxing. So yes, Matias is beatable. But a fighter has to be willing to risk his health or possibly life. Matias unconventional pressure style is tough for most at 140, but a Terrance Crawford type can be problems for Matias. You need a guy who knows how to box and how to fight to negate Matias.

BTW, I don't care if you don't read. I'm trolling because I know you don't know how to read or box. Whatever it takes to ruin your day because you've been acting like Matias owes your mother child support.

Looks like he dislikes Haney more than all the rest in the division.
No reason why Matias vs Haney can't be made next after their respective fights.
