Gvoz mentally checked out for over 3 years after Beterbiev. Where is his head space in a high-pressure fight now at 36 years old? I'd be more impressed with Benavidez vs Morrell. Anyway, he is moving up. See what he does after the mentally shattered Gvoz

      That is a good foight.

If Beterbiev knocks Bivol out, I think he retires or moves up to cruiserweight.

If Bivol wins, I think he will fight Benavidez , if Benavidez can beat Gvozdyk.

Bam - Estrada is a f.ucking great news.

Canelo is fighting berlanga or Charlo in May imo, and munguia in September , then possibly Bud next May. So I like this fight . Hope I’m wrong and we get Canelo-Benavidez, but he should move to 175 and target then winner of Beterviev-Bivol in Saudi for ****** money instead of waiting on a percentage of a Canelo payday.

I’d be down for Benavidez-Morrell if David wants to wait on Canelo though

david is an easy fight for beterbiev, a far easier fight than bivol. i dont know though if there is a rematch clause? then that ties them up until next year. if no rematch clause i could see beterbiev taking that fight and retiring after.

Yarde, the guy who lost to that bum Lyndon Arthur was not an easy fight for Beterbiev. He went life and death. The idiocy around here makes me laugh. People just say anything that comes to mind regardless of facts.

If Beterbiev wins, I think he will take another retirement check and fight Jai Opetaia but he is going to get stopped in the fight. Correct on Bivol and Benavidez. Bivol blanks him like he did Gilberto, just too basic.

Why is the WBC creating an 'interim' belt at 175 when their mandatory was just satisfied?

The more belts they create the more money they make.

If an 'interim' 175 belt is created it certainly looks that way because there's no justification for it given their mandatory was just satisfied with Beterbiev's defeat of Smith.

Ridiculous situation if true, the WBC needs to be abolished.

Since the Mayweather era, this kind of thing has been tolerated way too often. It's probably one of the reasons Showtime and HBO are out.

Thankfully, I think the "Money" era is coming to an end. Bud isn't being given money for another crappy fight which is why he's sitting around doing nothing and Canelo won't be around much longer. Fury's coming to the end. The remaining guys will need to make money taking risks against each other.
