If I'm David I fight Morrell and Mbili this year. Beat em both and CONman still refuses to fight you then go on a "fcuk you Cobarde Canelo" tour at every chance you get when interviewed while moving up to 175. There's already a ton of mexicanos that are sick of Alvarez and his cherry picks. Will end up on the news in Mexico
Benny And Sr thinking of moving to light heavyweight

So I’ve been hearing rumours that Benny and dad are thinking of moving up after hearing of Canelo not having intentions of facing him
As we all know he’s been the WBC mandatory ever since his victory over Boo Boo but that hasn’t gotten him any closer to the Canelo sweepstakes
That being said , I think Benny gets beaten by multiple top ten light heavyweight fighters at the moment ; Beterbiev , Bivol , Gvodzyk And Even Yarde might beat him
He won’t have the weight or size advantage anymore
What’s your take , should he make the move ?
Is it in his best interest or should he hold back ?
Intriguing to say the least whatever he decides imoComment

Can’t wait around and ruin his career

Moving there now and letting the biggest fight in the sport slip through his fingers would be silly though. Still some good fights at 168, while LHW is a pretty dead division. Other than the champs who are not even draws its dead. He should wait until late 2025 to move up.
Its amazing how underrated Benavidez still is despite being so dominant in his career. But apparently he has no chance vs a guy who went life and death with Yarde, or the guy who struggled to beat Craig Richards. lolLast edited by Oracle01; 02-20-2024, 06:46 PM.Comment

The delusion is hilarious. Not only does Benavidez beat them all he probably stops them. Bivol struggled with Richards a few years ago for gods sake, he is not special.Comment

If you had any brains you would realize that Canelo should not feel forced to fight the biggest most in demand fight that the boxing world wants, plus the number 1 guy in his division. He should be enthusiastic about it, just how he was with Charlo, Ryder and the next bum he fights. You can't even recognize a blatant duck right infront of your eyes.Comment

Benavidez will prob be better at LHW. The fact you think an inactive Gvodzyk beats him shows you still underestimate David. Gvodzyk has said in the past David kicked his ass in sparring. Benavidez will beat the crap out of everyone at LHW, he will have a size and speed advantage over most of them and hit harder than he does at 168.

If they can’t get Canelo fight , they will move up
Brother you know sparring and a real fight are day and night
Maybe your right , only one way to find out
Say what you will but he’s never been hit flush by a light heavyweight , that and only then we’ll see his true colours
GGG used to say he sparred with bigger men and got the better of them but then I didn’t see him jumping to the occasion of moving upComment

Benavidez has been sparring LHW's since he was a kid, even heavy weights. Sparring can be basically like a real fight they just might not throw 100% all the time but pros don't just pitty patter, people get knocked out in sparring. He will fold Bivol in half with body shots and stop him. I think Bivol ducks him like Canelo.
Bivol beats him on ring iq alone
So then what’s the hold up , move up or is he like GGG
And sorry but sparring ain’t anywhere close to a real fightComment
