Custio Clayton, undefeated/extensive amateur background/olympic pedigree/20 odd pro fights under his belt, Boots smokes him in 2 rounds. Do u see how many different ways Boots f....ks ppl up? Its never the same. You don't know sh...t about boxing if u can discredit anything about Boots Ennis. Name all the fighters you know of in history who could fight equally well from, and knock u out from both sides?? That's a very small list, my friend. Sam Langford, Marvin Hagler, Bud Crawford, Tyson occasionally squared up and went southpaw, but not for entire rounds. Hagler and Boots are the only one who did this consistently and this good. Nah, he's not chasing Bud. He was never interested in that fight. It's just a narrative Youtubers keep perpetuating to get views. I see no effort from Ennis' team to make that fight happen. Zero effort. They won't even contact BLK. That's why this thread made no mention of Bud. Bozy's most recent videos say he's only targeting 2 fighters, Crowley or Barrios.

Crowley is the one Boots' team have been chasing. Barrios is their other option.
Some sources say Crowley wants a better deal for the Ennis fight. If not, he'd rather have Barrios. PBC ultimately decides up until this IBF order. Don't know if a bidding will take place.

My beef is they won't even consider other options like Kavaliauskas or Avanesyan who are still very much active. But that's another topic reserved for later when Boots runs out of options. And I don't want to derail anything here.

I know what you mean and personally I think a Mean Machine would be good fight for Boots

Anything about home-based issues like wife issues, etc. as excuses is hard for me to stomach. Can't see why staying at home 24/7 sitting around would be any solution to such issues.

Eh. I don't begrudge a boxer a life & to not go away to camp for 2-3 mos while his gf or wife is pregnant.

I'm not invested in all the duck sh^t or "excuses" on L's like alot of very vocal fans are. Boxers are regular ass ppl just like everyone here they just have a crazier job than most of us. They got sh^t going on besides boxing that we have zero knowledge of.

Its not fun as a fan when fights don't happen, but in a sport where almost nothing makes sense out of the ring its hardly a surprise its as chaotic & nonsensical as it is.
