The Peros are almost nothing like Usyk. Danier looked flat footed to me against Jones. I was high on Lenier at first. I think these guys dont have much movement. Morrell is the real deal. These guys are tough bruisers.

I like both the Pero bros , think Danier has a high ceiling than Lenier due to age though

Also him or his last opponent are lying about their height he’s listed as 6’5 and the Joe Jones guy he fought recently is listed at 6’2, they were basically the same height from what I recall

You know I was gonna say that they are both short like Usyk and that was where the comparison ends but first I looked at boxrec to see both Pero's height and couldnt believe it so yeah I think you are totally right. Probably goes for age too.

He is the youngest ever to make the Olympic team in Cuba
Pero was almost 22 when in Tokyo...Cuba have had 17 and 18 year olds winning Olympic gold before.

I read (boxeocubano) that benavidez promoter stopped the Morrell Jr vs benavidez fight, he took a page out arum's manual and wants to marinate it more.
For what I know that was 3 years ago when Morrel beat Allen and had 3 fights, Boxeo Urbano(an Spanish boxing podcast) had today an interview with Samson Leckowish(Benavides Manager) and he said both are young and lots of risk, he said that fight is not worth if is not for a major title, Cesar Peņa(the interviewer) asked him then: well, are saying that we won't see Benavides vs Morrell Jr in 2024? - to what he replied: is veey possible they fight this year, it all depends on Canelo cuz I gotta fulfill Benavides's 2 fights per year contract.. they both won't find rivals, they most likely will have to fight eachother, is the easiest fight to do, Munguia is Golden Boy and Dazn, I don't think PBC who just got a contract with Amazon Prime would give up and give the fight to their competition, Mbilli is with an Arab manager who is know for being dificult, Morrell is at good pace, what would be great news for him would be Gilberto Mendoza an the WBA to strip Canelo of the WBA and mandate a fight with Mbilli or Diego Pacheco, that would be great for us, Benavides isn't ranked high on the WBA but if the WBA belt is up for takers Samson Peinotions said he would jump on it

Boxing is a lot more tactical than other sports. It's about knowing what to do in any situation, staying composed etc.

IF (and it really is an if) you look after your body and stay well preserved, it's possible that your experience advantage outpaces physical decline into your 30s for a while.
