    1. "but then I’ve got charisma, where the people love me and are drawn to me.” Who the heck says that?
    2. Tito wins that one in my opinion. He was a great in my book. That said, if you didn't love Cotto's body work, you are nuts!

Trinidad wins by stoppage, too big, and naturally bigger, who at welterweight had the power of a middleweight

All I know is that both Trinidad and Cotto spent their careers facing the best fighters the sport had to offer. Berlanga isn’t even good enough to be discussing their careers in a public forum.

I would've loved see how much better Cotto would've been if Margarito happened damaged him with those loaded hand wrap's!
Cotto, and Cintron were on a real strong winning streak, until that criminal Margarito mugged them with those plaster of Paris rock's inside of his gloves!
I'm hoping, and pulling for Berlanga to be able to follow in the foot step's of Trindad, Cotto, Gomez, Serrano, and Ortiz!

I don't see Berlanga being the Heir Apparent , he's just not good enough. Zander was looking good there for a minute , it seems like he might be having injury problems though.
What Margarito did to Cotto and Cintron is unpardonable. I hope that one day he really pays the price for that. He took away what they could have been. What a de****able pendejo.

Well, we're discussing their careers in a public forum & I suspect that most of us have achieved less in boxing than Edgar Berlanga. Speaking personally, I have never achieved anything in boxing that remotely compares to what Berlanga has. So, that is a pretty silly comment isn't it?

I agree with you pnut, I'm still going to follow, and pull for Berlanga to succeed. I understand that he's to muscle bound, which affect's a boxer's fluid movement.
But like I said in my prior post, I'm hoping that his return to his original trainer, and manager, will will bring about a more fluid, and effective fighting technique to his game!

Trinidad would have massacred Cotto if both of their primes were lined up. But prime Benitez would have given Trinidad a boxing lesson.

Agree completely! Always use that when I rank my all time list.
My all time PR ranking is
                  1. Gomez
                  2. Ortiz
                  3. Benitez
                  4. Trinidad
                  5. Cotto
                  6. Camacho
                  Torres, Chapo, Calderon, etc.

Ranking 3-6 for me is as followed: Benitez beats Tito and Cotto. Trinidad KOs Cotto. Cotto Beats Camacho.

Berlanga is a massive underachiever. It is pure nonsense to mention him along with great fighters like Trinidad, Cotto, Gomez, Ortiz, Benitez, and Camacho. Berlanga can’t carry any of those great fighters water.
