no, it's a clear advantage and not overrated... put a tall great fighter against a short great fighter and the tall fighter will always have the advantage.. I am not saying all tall fighters will beat all short fighters but the advantage will be on the tall fighter's side.
Is being the taller fighter an overrated advantage?

Nah, arbitrary.
Like truth said, it's how you use the body you have. A very goodt short boxer vs a very good tall boxer tends to be a very good fight just like how a very powerful fighter against a very fast fighter tends to be a good fight.
Fury vs Usyk should be a very good fight and what will really make the difference is who uses their assets best, not some born with unfair advantage the sport ignores because stuff and things.Comment

It was for Lennox, Bowe and the Klitschkos.

okay...I'm not seeing how that negates that he used his height to his great advantage. Under Steward's tutelage he put together a very impressive record keeping his opponents at the end of a stiff jab, occasional straight right and clinching if/when a fighter got inside that perimeter.Comment

Anything is an overrated advantage, esp a physical one, if you don't harness the advantage it gives. So it could be if one doesn't use height to the advantage it is.Comment
