The sentiment that "a loss is a loss, no room for debate" is untrue anymore.

When corrupt judges and promoters obviously steal a fight, as they did in Loma vs Haney, Romero vs Barroso, Lopez vs Ortiz....and a few others this past year....what is really happening is that people are losing interest because anyone with a brain can see that judging and the sport itself is becoming more and more a joke, not a real sport, but more of a setup than anything.

And people will now say stop whining, those fights weren't robberies, a close fight is a close fight, blah blah....

That has been said many times, and it's fine to hold that viewpoint. Especially if you dislike Loma, Barroso, Ortiz and the other fighters who have been robbed by corruption. But the fact is, many people see clearly how corrupt the sport has become and so they don't care about it.

I personally could care less what corrupt judges or refs say or do, and fighters "official records" have become funny to me. Loma is the real champ, unless you are going by the corrupt system. Barroso is the real belt holder, not Romero. Canelo has at least one loss to GGG, and likely two. Ortiz beat Lopez.

Many if not most fans could care less about the "official" crap, we all have eyes and know who won these fights. It is yet another reason why the sport has become more and more of a joke.

      Kambosos in May ibf

      Shakur in October wbc

      Navarrate in 2025 wbo

Undisputed in 2025 final fight wba

That's the path, but he won't make it. 3 out of 4 belts are at top rank. There are no road blocks.

Even if tank is the wba champ at the end. Tank would bend over backwards to fight a 51 year old Lomachenko for undisputed

Everyone now knows he falls short whenever steps up to elite. Solid B level fighter though

165 Devin ‘He knows what I’m going to do daddy’ Haney knows Lomachenko didn’t fall short. So does Bill.

165 Devin got his head bobbed around like a speedball by a much, much smaller and older man, but you carry on believing Lomachenko always fails at elite level. If all other top fighters faced the challenges Lomachenko does they would be closer to 10,10 than 17,3.

His goal was to duck Shakur and take Haneys left overs

Loma's turning 36 years old this Saturday and the Lightweight division talent pool is big, going for Undisputed seems like a tall task with fighters like Muratalla, Zepeda, Schofield, De Los Santos, Martin, Tank Davis and Stevenson lurking around. There also some strong upcoming prospects that will be contenders in 1-3 years.

If lomachenko fights more "big names" in America he will get robbed more times before he retires, simple.

He should operate out of Saudi now and you'll see fair results.

especially with how they rob him in america

But why you only mention American LW prospects. There's Olympic gold medalist Artur Batyrgaziev (Russia) for example, Sam Noakes (UK) 13-0 13 KO's, Dzmitry Asanau, Yaroslav Khartsyz.

You should be champ already, you got robbed by Haney

True, that's another notable disadvantage, he doesn't have the home field advantage unlike most of the contenders I mentioned. I rewatched his fight with Haney and still see him having the edge.

By the way, I am not really well acknowledged when it comes to foreign prospects outside of North America unless they stand out like Benjamin Whittaker. Would like try to check some tape/content on these guys though.
