This is just ****** talk - why Hearn is nailing himself to Benn's career I have no idea - the guy is a decent fighter - but he's not elite and he'll never be a superstar - all the hype and money Hearn is putting into Benn he'd be better off saving and trying to get Haney onside or promote Andy Cruz

That's a big jump for Davis. Even Manny Pacquiao worked his way into 147 and he was always a small welterweight. I wouldn't say Benn is elite but there are weight classes for a reason. I doubt Davis is the one who acquiesces to the weight demands. It'll probably be at a catch weight if anything.

        Hearn is dumb.

If your guy is calling out a smaller guy, he better be ready to move down. If not, don't make noise for the fight.

This wasn't Gervonta calling out Benn. This was Benn calling out Gervonta and Gervonta calling the bluff.

I don't know why Benn is bothering with a 135lb fighter anyway. Benn doesn't need the money. He comes from money and he has made his own money on top of it.

So why worry about a 135lb guy? Especially to fight him at 147? Sh.it is goofy.

        Go fight Jaron Ennis.

Andy cruz gonna be hard to get fights for. The guy is insanely talented and alot of these champions/top fighters are gonna see him as a who needs him. Gonna have to get himself into a mandatory spot I reckon because nobody is gonna voluntarly fight Cruz. But I don't see why he's still bringing all the hype for Benn. The guy can't even fight in the UK right now and that was literally the thing that was making hearn any money with the guy. So that's why he's having to try get him to fight guys like tank because he can't keep fighting the likes of peter Dobson in America where you cant sell tickets

Both Haymon and Tank know they don’t need Hearn and Benn. Hearn’s deal with DAZN is on life support after Hearn has spent DAZN’s money like a drunken sailor with no return on the investment. Hearn pulled the wool over DAZN’s dumb arse and is now teaming up with another shyster Frank Warren and both are teaming together because they have found a sucker in Saudi (Turkie) and are picking his pockets.

Nobody cares about this fight. It's an illogical fight to make.

Benn should fight Avanesayan or Barrios.

That's a big offer for Davis to fight someone who I genuinely think nobody would say has a good chance to win.

Conor has done well really but has anybody really thought he could/would win a world title?

Avenysyan is the fight for sure that needs to be made for Benn. If he won that then sure we could say he should he competing at World level.

But Davis? How does get from Dobson to Davis?

It gets said a lot on here but Benn probably at this very moment a hype job. He only quashes that by fighting top domestic contenders and guys like Avenesyan

Being thrust into a fight like this and probably getting outclassed and stopped seems backwards. I guess it is prize fighting and if he gets paid he's won but he could get ****** out and have a British title eliminator on his return and that would still be a massive step up from much of his career. I get that he was a real novice pro but this for sure is opportunistic match making in the extreme

Some ppl seem to be already forgetting Benn didn't call Tank out. Tank jumped on Conor. And as for the fools question why Tank should acquiesce to Benns demands what are those demands? That the fight is at Conor Beens weight class?

If the money is an issue there is nothing stopping daddy Floyd and his wife Al Haymon from proposing something better
