Cotto can definitely throw a good right hand lead.

He does have a better straight right hand then Oscar and Hatton for sure but that is not his money punch. It will be interesting to see if he can make the straight right his main weapon against Manny (whom I think is a sucker for that punch).

Aslong as Cotto does not get focred to moving back and fighting off the back foot he has a good chance, if he goes backward he is screwed if there is any ammount of time left in the fight when that starts taking place.

I agree that's his best chance. Control the distance, avoid being on the back foot. At the same time you can't brawl with Pac and avoid being hit with a lot of punches.

He's got his hands full. I still can't see him winning.

hmm which of these hasnt pac seen before?

sucker to the left hand right hook and upercutt
            cant throw right hand lead

if you cant see this your blind, he is more tailor made for pac than fire shorts......pac will will destroy him....the only help miguel has is his weight, that could help him see the distance...
Been saying this since the fight was announced -- Cotto is left-hand dominant and fighting a fast southpaw, and that could be a huge factor in this fight.

I wouldn't say he'll destroy Cotto, and I feel you're putting it across in an extreme way, but Pacquiao has every tool he needs to beat Cotto.

I thought Manny was going to win, but I am becoming unsure. Miguel does have good timing and can throw good counters, while Manny gets out of sorts fairly often if Cotto plays it correct he should be able to draw Manny into a trap. That is easier said then done though.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out though.

cotto is a lot bigger and stronger and tougher than hatton.

cotto is more prime than dlh.

cotto is too big. pac is in trouble.
