I just want him to get punish in some way... to send a signal that taking steroids is not tolerated in the great sport of boxing..because if it is....what makes this sport so different from the WWE...?

It would send a great signal right now if they did actually say you know what shane, you need to be punish for cheating no matter if you did 6 years ago. For the integrity of boxing you need to be punish. To send a specfic message.

*That there should be no statue of limitations for cheating *

That even if you cheat and dont get caught, If we (boxing officals) FIND OUt
5,10,15,20, or however many years from now that you cheated you will be PUNISH !!!

The NCAA has this stance, that there is no statue of limitations for cheating and I applaud it. They found out in 2007 that chris webber took illegal money from Mich alum.. and they wiped out all of Mich wins, final fours, everything

that was something that was over 15 years old, they treated as a crime that was just commited today.

WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU, ON HOW THEY FEEL ABOUT THEIR SPORT?

Why cant we do that for boxing?

"Barry Bonds rearranging the baseball record books landed him in the cross hairs of the federal government for years. Shouldn't there be some level of serious consequences for a boxer whose job is to try to rearrange his opponent's face?"

I like Mosley but that doesnt give him the right to get off scott free from what he did. First thing that should happen is his Win should be changed to a L by DQ against Oscar, Oscar should get a W in the fight. Then he should have to pay a fine to a fund that would be used to educate and regualate against the usage of steroids. Regarding whether or not Mosley knew he was using "steroids" I think is debatable and before you call me naive or worse hear me out. Have you ever used Creatine? That stuff will give you some crazy results the kind that will have people talking this guys on roids or that guys on roids. Could Conte have marketed his drugs as performance enhancing but non steroidal to Shane and his advisors? Unlikely but possible so I will reserve judgment on that but bottom line was he used so some sort of punishment should be given and Shane has to take responsibility for his choices.

Jeez. Shane admitted to steroid use.

How obsessed do you have to be with Shane to deny something that he admitted?

Than why the hell are you not calling for Roy Jones head on a platter? Seems to me you want to ignore his cheating even though he actually tested positive, but will go to any length to discredit Mosley. I don't expect you to answer, you ignore this every time I bring it up because it shows what a what a biased, double standard you go by and how far you will stoop to excuse Floyd from fighting the best welterweight in the division.

That is an excuse not a reason. Obviously many people here want to go by their own rules concerning this. But using something illegal is still using something illegal.

Does any body doubt that Jones juiced for the Ruiz fight? I don't. Especially with his past history of steroid abuse.

Whats good for the goose is good for the gander, Horus. If it was cheating for Shane it was cheating for Roy.

When has steroids killed anyone in the ring?

Can anyone provide proof? Cause I can provide proof where using steroids didn't help a fighter out
