What I saw in the Callum Johnson fight where Beterbiev got dropped

Beterbiev breaks them down and then knocks them out. He’s a big puncher but not Deontay Wilder where the opponents can’t make any mistakes

I predict Bivol’s movement will outmaneuver Beterbiev’s pressure and counterpunching skills

Bivol will make Beter look slow old and vulnerable

wilder is a knockout artist against bums. thats not hard. the only top 10 guy he has ever ko'd was 40 years old. he's had 7 fights against top 10 guys and only has 2 ko's against the same guy. beterbiev is 6 for 6 in ko's against top 10 opponents. top 10 opponents dont usually just fall over when hit once. bums do because thats what makes them bums.

Beterbiev beat Gvozdyk, Smith Jr, Yarde, Callum Smith, Browne. All ranked top 10 when he beat them. Maybe was Callum Johnson ranked also, I can`t remember.

Bivol is a much better boxer and much tougher than them, well Yarde is pretty tough but technically not good.

Bivol is going to have a lot of opportunities to counter and Bertebiev isn't going to start boxing defensively even if he's getting lit up.


Bivol has a FAR better chance of dropping Bertebiev than someone like Callum Smith did.

Callum Smith retreated to the ropes and started shipping power shots literally 20 seconds into the fight.

Which has literally zero effect on Beterbiev and Smith is a big puncher even at 175lbs.

I can see Beterbiev being outboxed at times by Bivol but eventually he slows Bivol down and stops him.
