to the TS. yeah your probably right, if Berto isn't stripped before fighting Mosley, the new WBC champ will most likely lose the title

a better example to use for this situation would be the WBC stripping Tim Bradley after he unified with Kendall Holt, because he didn't fight the WBC #1 challenger at the time in Devon Alexander (the current WBC 140 champ)

**however this WBC 147 situation could be different because

    1. as of now Floyd Mayweather sits atop the rankings as the WBC's #1 ranked WW. I know PBF's said no to a Mosley fight, but if Mosley beats Berto. it'll be very tempting for Floyd to take on Sugar. And already ranked #1 Mayweather could probably just slide in and get that fight. Icing on the cake of course would be both the WBA and WBC are on the line.

    2. we'll have to see what happens as Collazo now #2 in the ratings could fight the #3 challenger (as this has been talked about)

but I still would like to know if Floyd has any intentions of getting back his title, as ranked #1 he'd probably be given greater priority as to what happens.

**I know the WBC is only 1 of 4 Alphabet belts, but im still interested to see what happens with this title situation.

I care about the belts. Because how does it look for them to be spread out when we already know who is ranked #1 in the division? I care about the belts, I just don't like the stripping. pointless madatories, and sanctioning fees.

And if he does not go through with it, he will automatically have to give up the belt. **** Hogay Sookiman. Fat ass Dan Rafael even brought this up in his chat. It was something I already knew though, because it is common sense. I can't really blame Berto for not rematching Collazo, because in reality, Collazo turned the rematch down by pricing himself out. And I thought Berto beat Collazo fair and square in a close fight when he swept the last two rounds with the fight being on the table. And this is some bull**** that Mosley will likely get stripped for not fighting a guy he already beat.

It's the same thing that happened to Margarito for not fighting Clottey. So if everything would've went smoothly and the sanctioning bodies were not douchebags, Mosley would have the WBA, IBF, and WBC titles wrapped around his waist. According to Floyd's stans, Mosley hasn't done enough to deserve a fight with Floyd.
Mosley/Berto is a brilliant fight because of these problems. FUCK THE ALAPHABET STRAPS!!! Berto/Mosley is a solid fight between two top 5 welterweights. With there being no welterweight champion at the moment, can't complain if the top welterweight takes on a young stud until he can secure a fight with Mayweather to create another welterweight champion. Trully being a titlist just means your a contender, Mosley is past being a contender and that is exactly what Berto is. This fight should be made and then move on from there.

I say fuck em too, because they won't do what's right. Mosley would have more leverage if he had the WBC title to his collection. Hopefully Aydin beats Collazo so we can see a different fight.

some good fights coming up...Cotto/Pac.. Whoever teh **** Mayweather fights lol.. and Mosley/Berto.. Boxing fans win.

As to Berto...well Berto has the ability to throw some mean hooks and uppercuts... that fight could get prettty interesting if it unfolds at all how I see it

Don't use Collazo as a barometer for Berto.. Collazo has made other fighters look bad too.

If the sanctioning bodies could find a way for their title to be on the line in a Mayweather fight I'm sure they would, so should Mosley beat Berto I could see them most definitely instilling Floyd as a mandatory, much like how WBO want Cotto vs Pac to be for their title.

I never heard of this Aydin guy until he signed to fight Jackson Bonsei Onsu or whatever his name is. I was hoping to gauge how good Onsu was and then boom, Aydin ruined that. I hope he's something good. This division is so loaded from 1 to 25, it's great.

look at the wbc rankings for welterweight (wbcboxing.com) and Floyd already is ranked #1.

surprised nobody's made note of that ^
