Next time ESPN televises a fight card, I'm not sure I can watch that thing live. Will have to record it and watch the following day (which was my original plan for last night's debacle).

ESPN Cards almost always take us East Coasters well past midnight to finish because they need to shoehorn in all the jibber jabber from Kreigel and Bradley.

The bias towards the house fighter is damn near intolerable. There's a script for the commentary and that's what they typically go with no matter what's playing out in the ring.

All of this leaves me tired and underwhelmed the next morning.

Idk why they, & a lot of boxing, does so much fooking talking. Idk if ratings support ppl still watching all the talking but I often find myself going to do something else while these mfers talk for 20-30 mins about boxing instead of showing me some fooking boxing.

As to the east coast problems, I sympathize as a ex-east coaster but as a west coaster now I usually love the times of fights starting & ending. I just hate their usage of that time. And to be fair to TR they aren't the only offender, but they are among the worst offenders with making a card last longer than it needs to.

For me it's the commercials. I can;t watch live TV anymore honestly.

Yeah I didn't even watch Shakur's last fight because it was so late. Then I knew it'd be a bad fight, so I didn't bother trying to stay up for it.

              Credit due and awarded
But I must say that after the fight , when all four were debating , some real chit came about
They trashed the judge who had it 117/111
They respectfully trashed Teo saying he can’t cut the ring and hadn’t done enough to win
Some good at least came out but not sure if it’s cause I kept the viewing on the + channel
I think espn went straight to sports desk

Damn, I missed all of that. I was falling asleep at that point. Credit to them for getting off the pre-fight narrative. Going to DVR the ESPN cards from here on out.
