bivol has been one of the most dominant fighters in terms of not losing rouds. The canelo fight was a clear 8-4. The richards fight was bs judging. He won 118-110 one one judge and the other two had it 115-113 which is bs. He never had any close fights.

I never said it was close. I had it 8-4, Richards definitely won 3-4 of the last rounds. I said it was an average performance vs a C level fighter. A true elite should be destroying those type of guys. Bivol has great basics but thats it. His punch selection is limited and repetitive , he lacks variety, no body work or upper cuts. It works vs basic limited opponents but that does not make him special.

          Precision and decision making.

and he doesn’t look ordinary. If he put the foot on the gas and didn’t hold back to maintain the chance of a 2nd fight with Canelo he would have delivered an awesome ass whooping for the ages.

Benavidez doesn' t even have great basics. He is blocking punches with his face lol.

Nobody but you here thinks Benavidez is any good.

If your boy thinks he beats 175 dogs, man up or sh.ut up.

Get glasses. He blocks punches with a very effective high guard. He is 5th on compubox for lowest opponent power punch connect %. I assume you will reply with 'compubox sux' and its just random coincidence he is 5th. lol.

You're talking Canelo here... The best thing since sliced bread at that time supposedly .... It was indeed an ass whooping... Ginger won't want that heat anymore...

The better a fighter is in terms of pure boxing skill ? The less they need to rely on out working, their opponents with basic pressure and high volume.

Bivol is not on the skill level of Floyd Mayweather Junior.

Neither Bivol or Beterbiev are all time great super elite fighters skill for skill 'They are fighters who have good solid fundamentals, and they do not produce a high frequency of unforced error's'.

Note: Bivol and Beterbiev are masterful boxers within this era 'But I honestly don't rate them on the same skill level of Mayweather Junior, Pacquiao, Jones Junior or Hopkins'. That is a entirely another topic in itself.

Beterbiev vs Bivol? Now, I would say that stylistically 'I can envision how Bivol can win this fight. Similar to how he beat Alvarez, but he will be forced to go through his gears and perform closer to his upper limits and beyond'.

Beterbiev as I stated seems to be showing signs, that he has elite level punching power and durability 'Sometimes when you are dealing with a fighter like this? Their opponents can execute their tactics very well, and still get beaten'.

When and if they fight, I think the fight is going to come down to unforced errors 'Like in great tennis matches, what separates two evenly matched athletes skill for skill. Is the frequency of unforced errors they make, in the clutch' etc.

Beter is skillful but I wouldn’t call him masterful boxer

I predict Bivol will make Beter fight like a plodder mummy!

imo Bivol is 3rd among the best guys today
