Go watch the fight, and you give me your round-by-round score, and then we will have something we can dissect to come up with a result.

Because he won more rounds than Castillo won meaning Mayweather’s final total was a higher number than Castillo’s final total.

it is shocking how many fans rely on the total punch statistics and don't consider that the fight is scored round by round and even the rounds aren't entirely judged by the number of punches landed.

So true and when you pin them to a score and dissect rounds they are shown up in scoring, no doubt it was a close fight but he won it just as he won the first Maidana fight but you gotta watch them closely at what both guys do, just throwing volume don't win fights.

It’s not corruption, it’s just internet narrative manipulation.

See Floyd won the first six rounds against Castillo, dropped him and was doing very well. It’s just that Castillo got more active because his corner said step it up. So he’s going out there trying to be more aggressive and he did well yes, but he lost because no matter what, boxing is scored round by round. Floyd was just conservative to a degree because he had a shoulder issue and he also was facing someone who’s style always gave him issues.

He won, Castillo lost. He gave him another chance, and Castillo lost again.
