I can't see Joshua losing at all. Especially now that Joshua has sharpened up his defense

This is just more zany responses from other boxing pundits, it’s not an MMA thing .
Ngannous been boxing for years with Dewey Cooper in just boxing as his striking coach when he trains the difference now is he can shift more weight on the front foot bc he won’t have to worry about leg kicks but the principles stay the same .
Its not boxing vs MMA bc they are BOXING . Ngannou is new to pro boxing and has to learn adjustments within those rule sets / rounds but he’s not representing mma when he steps into a boxing ring bc he’s not fighting like or training like an MMA fighter the entire this vs that is ridiculous ,unless they went into an event where Joshua could only box and Ngannou can apply leg kicks elbows and grappling etc then it’s boxing vs mma .
When Pulev fought Frank Mir that was a BOXING match in a different type of ring that was supposed to favor grapplers and Mir got stopped as he should bc Mir is generally a grappler submission artist his strength isn’t boxing but it was a boxing match ,boxing didn’t defeat mma bc he did what he was supposed to do anyway . Ngannou is actually representing boxing as an art itself more in MMA and how it can be effective, make it make sense Tim . LolLast edited by juggernaut666; 02-06-2024, 12:06 PM.

Like Fury i fully expect Aj to win the boxing match but can Ngannou once again win the fight & the fans? One thing is for sure Ngannou isn't like Wallin, a weak no power dabber Aj was unafraid of. I wouldn't be surprised if Aj goes into full Ruiz 2 mode especially as Ngannou has the hardest ever recorded punch, Aj has to bulk upto 250 where as Ngannou cuts to 265. Aj gonna be like "shhhhhiiiiiiiiit!"
Just 1 counter.
Honestly Wallin would beat Ngannou 8 times out of 10.
Nagnnou is no walk over but I got Joshua to win in 8 rounds. The best Nagnnou can hope for is to get that one punch that wobbles Joshua and hurts him. Then his journey can continue. But his boxing ranking would be outside the top-20 for sure.
Ngannou's punch record just got beaten by a huge amount so he no longer holds that. Punching machines don't really mean much though. That punch Chisora threw against Takam would have KO'd anyone but how many times do you get to throw a punch like that?? Chisora never landed a punch like that again and he's not a big puncher under normal fight conditions. Fight power is what matters : How hard you can hit when you only got a small window of opportunity.

No one or very few ppl understand it’s the individual doing it not the particular type of art they represent .
They're often completely lackluster in terms of skill and reliant on power and size it's easy to crossover they can't get away with that in lower divisions in either sport at a decent level anyway.BlackRobb likes this.

If Joshua can used his obvious strength and nullify Ngannou’s then he should be in the driving seat unless, like Fury he allows himself to get counted, then he may find himself in a world of trouble of which he may not recover. Ngannou is still a relatively unknown quantity and may have another surprise up his sleeve as many forget he is a fighter, not simply a on the floor take down guy. This is in my opinion a risky one as this kid is a venomous ‘striker’ with a reasonable boxing ability as Fury found out to his obvious surprise. This guy is the most dangerous fighter that Joshua has faced since Ruiz 1
