I think beterbiev is abit like usyk, similar eastern European backround, in where his performance is based on his opposition, in Yarde he was supposed to walk through him, as was usyk vs Chisora, yet both occasions the opposition was made to look like they gave a solid effort, yet when either usyk & beterbiev were up against risky or real challenges they always bring in another level and destroy there opponents one way or another.

Absolutely spot on. Someone commented he fights C grade opposition inbetween unwarranted title shots, thats seriously overating the opposition to even give them a c grade. He deserves the title for European bum whipper. Why didnt he challenge Bivol in Saudi instead of Artur? Why isnt there no metion of yarde being on the 5 vs 5 warren vs hearn undercard in july? Doubt he boxes Smith or Buatsi. Azeez would give him a hard nights work and probably beats him too

I mean at the end both dudes got stopped so it doesn't really matter. Yarde got stopped by Kovalev with a jab ffs lol.

Wouldn't mind an all brit clash between Yarde/Callum/Buatsi combination. Keep it domestic lol

He landed some more shots because of his speed. He still got ran through and stopped almost as quickly. I don't give him much credit for that tbh. Not worth boasting about imo.

LoL, guys whining and pining about Yarde, trying to detract from his fine performance against the beast Beterbiev. You kids couldn't last a round with Beterbiev, and you wanna talk like it's no big thing that Yarde was very much in the fight. Beterbiev himself gave Yarde credit and respect on his performance, yet you haters are trying to diminish the skills and effort it took. That was really the first and only fight where the outcome was in question against Beterbiev, outside of two rounds by Callum Johnson.

You Brit haters, hating on a Brit fighter, while simultaneously trying to paint Callum Smith's lame effort as anywhere near as good, are pathetic. Yarde gave Beterbiev a fight for 8 rounds. Smith was a punching bag the entire fight. No resistance to Beterbiev. Facts. Whether you like Yarde or not.

The only reason Yarde lasted was Beterbiev had one of his slow nights, probably trying not to laugh at Yarde’s fake Mayweather impression. As soon as he got serious the corner pulled Yarde out or Artur would have beaten the living piss out of him. That fight was stopped before Yarde could end up on his back which is what would have happened.
