Had only they lured Crawford, and had him defeat Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter, Ugas, Thurman and Spence, then the mega-fight with Pacquiao..

Both Crawford and PBC would be an unstoppable stable.

But now..? PBC is trying to figure out if Canelo is going to lose to Benavidez first, or fight Crawford- because they only have Canelo for two more fights. (This is simply my theory as to their thinking process; nothing to report).

Spence is down bad. Thurman hasn't fought in two years. Shawn Porter is a podcaster. Danny Garcia is a boxing promoter. Ugas was beat by Mario Barrios. Tank's done, basically- because he'll have to fight someone very credible for his next opponent; Matias will end that, and he doesn't speak English, so you really can't build off of that loss. And this is just the lower divisions.

Both Charlos aren't "the future of boxing". Jarrett Hurd, Julian Williams, Deontay Wilder, Andy Ruiz, Caleb Plant- they had so many budding stars who, for reason or another, aren't. Whether that be age, too much money to be hungry, or poor matchmaking at the highest level- these stars have dimmed, and so with it, the PBC banner.

They should have just retired with Showtime, and sold their fighters' contracts and just said, "We had fun". Now, the have Benavidez, who sold 60k ppvs and Canelo (2 fights) and Crawford (Spence rematch). They have Matias, but he'll be avoided. Rolly is a good character; not a good boxer. They did make an interesting fight with Tzysu and Thurman, because if either win, it makes them far more credible; with a win, it could be Thurman vs Crawford next, with the winner fighting Spence vs Pacquiao (who knows lol).

We'll have to see if Amazon can revive them, by demanding they make the best fights.

These fighters are gonna learn, this is business and he’s currently the face of sports in that county, the Middle East has money and they are willing to spend to make things happen but they wont be pressed to hand over cash. They don’t like being challenged. You come with respect or stay on the outside looking in.
