Lliondw: Biggest British fights: in our lifetimes, Froch v Groves was far bigger than any other fight. Only that could've sold out a huge arena. Next would probably be Bruno v Lennox. Kaylor v Christie probably could've sold out a big arena for reasons which don't reflect well on British boxing or on us as human beings, Going back to our grandparents' time, Len Harvey, Freddie Mills & Jock McAvoy regularly got 70/80k at Wembley

Why is Eddie baffled? Eubank walked away from 6 million to fight Golovkin, which Eddie was on the hook for in addition to the 10 million he paid ggg, shoutout to kell brook who saved Eddie big time by taking the fight.

'Benn vs Tank Davis at 147' is an awful idea. I want Tank fighting the best men at 135 not playing with his prey at 147.
        MulaKO MulaKO likes this.

Would be an easy win for Eubank but I understand him not wanting to reward Benn after he ruined the first fight. Let him get wacked by Boots for a 3rd of what he would have gotten for fighting Eubank.

I’m baffled that anyone cares about this match up between two guys living off of their father’s names but……it would seem to me that the pu$$y is the guy who felt the need to cheat for the fight, not the guy who decided to move on after that egg filled debacle.

How do you turn down something that can't happen? Benn can't fight in the UK and comp side show in Vegas.

                  Not "baffled".
Just desperate cuz he believes this little fight will somehow save his failed dazn endeavor.
Maybe Eubank wants the amount that Sky would pay if they broadcast it?

Things at Matchroom are getting more and more desperate by the day. Calling a fight between Eubank Jr and Benn the biggest fight in British history shows the depth of Hearns desperation. With DAZN bleeding red ink since it’s inception, Hearn is literally making **** up everyday in the hope the British fans buying him absurd BS. Hearn is hanging on to his stable of drug cheats because he’s got nothing else to offer. Expect DAZN to get out of boxing soon. The DAZN/ Matchroom partnership has been a complete disaster.

Shame that, I actually like the concept of a one stop shop for boxing with all under the same umbrella. I bet its backers and executives are kicking themselves for letting hearn be the face of it. But then again, now that I think of it, how smart would it be for there to be no competition…
