The boxer Trout has decent power is mentally battle tested. Not surprised here

Bout time boxers started doing bigger things in BKFC. And cool to see Trout specifically have success outside of boxing. That said I hope he doesn't stick around too much longer at his age. These BKFC fights seem rough on the body/hands.

Also that kid, Bryce Henry, on the comain who boxes too seems a lock to have a future in BKFC with his size, skills & elusiveness in a sport still evolving & where skills & elusiveness are damn near cheat codes vs some of these basic guys.

A former WBA light middleweight champion should be winning these kinda fights but he is 38 and BKFC fights can't be good for your hands but you could tell trout was just so much well schooled and palamino was seen as one of the top fighters in that fight league

He is not a former WBA light middleweight champion. He won the "Regular" title. Floyd Mayweather had the real WBA belt at the time.

And Palomino already got the dog crap beaten out of him by former featherweight journeyman Dat Nguyen, but Dat got robbed on the cards.

I wasn't specific about my timeline but Floyd was Super Champion for most of Trout's reign. Trout was never the real champion.

Floyd's reign as WBA "Super" Super Welterweight Champion lasted from his win over Miguel Cotto in 2012 until his retirement after the Andre Berto fight in 2015.

Trout won the vacant WBA Regular belt after Cotto was promoted to Super Champion in 2011 and Trout lost it to Canelo in 2013. At no point in time was Trout the primary WBA world titlist. He won a vacant secondary belt and lost it to Canelo, who then challenged Floyd and lost it.
